Summary: Maintenance without getting dirty.
Comment: I was a bit disappointed in this manual. I got the distinct impression that the manual was written by someone visiting a caravan dealer and asking how everything was done. There is no sense of the writer actually getting his hands dirty, or having any practical experience himself! A lot of the advise assumes you have all the resources of a dealership and a huge shed to hand to work in.
I really thing the writer has missed the target reader who is on a minimum budget.

Comment: I bought this book for my husband who swears by haynes manuals and has dozens of them at home. We have recently bought our first caravan so this manual was a perfect choice. It is very informative and gives you lots of tips and advice. It is definately a must for first time caravaners like ourselves.

Summary: DIY Caravan Repairs
Comment: From the same author as the brilliant haynes caravan handbook....
This is more in line with traditional haynes manuals i.e. repairs and maintenance of your caravan.
This is probably of more value to those with older caravans that need some repairs, rather than owners of newer vans like myself. However it will stay in my van and it will come in use for minor repairs. At present I have to have the van serviced by a dealer each year to keep the warranty valid.
I may do my own servicing once the warranty is up, and this book tells you what to check and do for servicign your van.
So should save its price in no time at all!
